Compliance

Lineth (formerly the Linea Stack), together with operator-controlled integrations, lets enterprises configure compliance and audit capabilities. These capabilities come from both protocol-level guarantees and operator-controlled integrations; zk-SNARK proofs do not automatically provide a complete compliance program.

Define auditability capabilities

Auditability features

Lineth supports audits with:

  • Protocol-level transaction records
  • State commitment proofs
  • Finalization records on the finalization layer
  • Deterministic replay and verification

Compliance enablement

Operators can embed compliance into their deployment strategy:

  • Privacy-preserving execution models (private validium)
  • Selective disclosure implementations
  • Controlled access to state and data
  • Integration with external compliance and monitoring systems

Define data retention and selective disclosure

Protocol support

Lineth provides protocol evidence that operators can use in a compliance design:

  • State commitments
  • Proof verification records
  • Finalization records
  • Transaction history retained by the deployment's data availability model

Deployment controls

Operators can configure data retention and selective disclosure to their business rules:

  • Data retention and deletion policies
  • Archive node deployment
  • Auditor and regulator access controls
  • Disclosure audit trails
